Sorry for the delay; my computer has been really into this "kernel panic" thing lately
Saturday:
Dozen or so of those freaky almonds
Way more brie and crackers
Half a cup of iced tea
3 cups of blackberry orange smoothie
Most of a three-egg tofu-mushroom scramble with 2 units of hashbrowns and 2 slices of rye toast
Normally I dislike this use of the word "scramble," but there's not really any better way to describe it.
1 glass white port
1 glass gewurztraminer
And apparently this is the point in the night at which I forgot that I couldn't drink:
2 glasses coconut rum
without the entire Internet finding out about it.
Look, I had smelled coconut recently, and it was on my mind, is all. Also don't force your reductive heteronormative paradigms on me; I'll do as I please
The rest of the scramble w/ 2 more hashbrowns and toasts
About 12 ounces of french fries with cheddar and half a pouch of this chunky soy business intended to approximate chili (Intended by me, to be honest. The store was out of soy chili pouches, so I got this soy tex mex blend that sounded pretty similar, but which had this sweet, almost barbecue saucy quality that, while not bad, prevented the dish from fully satisfying my chili fries cravings.)
Sunday:
2 three-slice lemon curd sandwiches on wheat toast
2 quesadillas, one cheddar, one pepper jack, both with some more of this tex mex soy stuff, as I endeavor to find a use for it
A few more almonds
Another half cup of iced tea
Oh goddammit I fell asleep before mashing those potatoes I was going to eat
Monday:
A plate of mashed potatoes
A balance bar
TV Dinner Fried Rice
Liquid Nutrition
3 slices of Domino's pineapple pizza at the colloquium
A few almonds
The last bit of Tomato/Red Pepper soup
Pan fried mashed potato balls, because, seriously, why not
Tuesday:
A balance bar
The rest of the box of Cherry Almond Clusters
A few ounces of dried chili mango
A plate of linguine marinara with prefab breaded eggplant
Another plate and a half of the linguine, this time with soyballs (
"Yum.
")
A scoop of cookies and cream ice cream
Wednesday:
Balance bar
Lasagna Alfredo thing
Some more chili mango
Like maybe 5 (rectangular) slices of Lefty's giardiniera pizza with the anime folks
Another scoop of ice cream (the way I do these, btw, is get a regular spoon and scoop out as large a chunk of ice cream as I can balance on it, and then eat that like an ice cream cone. This is not only in order to keep my lazy ass from having to wash a bowl, but more importantly it forces me into some semblance of portion control)
The last bit of chili mango (total 8 oz. I may start keeping track of that now, where appropriate)
Thursday:
Most of a box of toasted oatmeal flakes
Ravioli thing
The rest of the linguine with the rest of the sauce and some pepper jack
A little bit of polish sausage, wrapped in a tortilla (I felt guilty, and lost 1 alignment. Ok, nethack jokes aside, my freezer still has a fair amount of meat in it, so I try to eat a serving every couple of weeks or so, just to keep my enzymes on their toes)
Friday:
Balance bar
Lasagna (as you may have noticed, there are basically five TV dinners (out of about 7 vegetarian options) that I rotate between when I'm too busy/lazy to make sandwiches for lunch)
Several handfuls of toasted oatmeal flakes
3 quesadillas, involving some combination of cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, the last bit of that tex mex soy nonsense, and some sauteed mushrooms. I should mention that I'm still Mexican enough to think you people are weird for putting a bunch of noncheese ingredients like chicken fajitas or whatever in your quesadillas, and I dread the day that El Torito invents some kind of Fried Cheesecake Quesadessert, but I have been preoccupied with Santana's "Quesomush" for quite some time, so mushroom quesadillas it is, and they were sure good.
A drink at the Aero, courtesy
firmamentA bowl of his bread pudding
A scoop of ice cream
A packet of Lipton "Pasta Sides" Stroganoff
Conclusions: This week was not very healthy. Also I don't think I drink enough water either.
